Offline Mode enables usage of the AIDAC App without an active internet connection. Offline mode is useful when an End User knows he/she will be travelling to a remote location for data collection where there is no internet connection.
Active internet connection is required to enable Offline Mode
Given below are the steps involved in enabling Offline Mode,
- From Settings->Offline Mode menu, user selects only those projects he/she wishes to take offline and hits the "Go Offline" button
- AIDAC app pulls/downloads the project and Task details of the selected projects and displays a success message
- Users can now start using the App without an internet connection and starts collecting data
- User moves to an active internet collection to upload the collected data
- Disable Offline Mode from Settings Menu
Note: User must manually disable Offline Mode when done. Otherwise, the other projects (that aren't part of the Offline Mode) and new projects assigned if any would not visible in the project listings.
